A cultural programme was also presented at the event, which was commenced by a welcome song for the grandparents to show gratitude towards grandparents. A highly appreciated dance show was performed by the students of the senior wing. Children also showed their love while speaking on this special day. Many games were organised for the grandparents which were main attraction of the function. Chairman, Aneet Goel said, " What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance: they give unconditional love, patience, comfort and lessons in life. Lucky ones get chance to stay with their grandparents." He further appreciated the efforts of the staff and students.

Students visit Post Office

Anee's School, Mohali and Kharar celebrated World Post Office Day, where students were given information about genesis of the postal services and its development. Apart from gaining this awareness, students also went to a Post Office to see and understand the nature of work there. Small kids also got to know how letters, telegrams are sent. Information about writing telegrams and pin numbers, ways of depositing and withdrawl of money was also given to them. Besides that students were also given knowledge of historical tickets too.

At this moment Aneet Goyal, chairman of Anee's Group of Schools said, " No doubt , in this era of technology, courier service and many other fast services are in trend so interest in sending letters has reduced nowadays. We took our children to the Post Office to bring them closer to their past so that students remember their past and golden time of postal services and can understand the value of the past, as present and future depends on it."
